At this point, Sadik was beginning to wonder who American’s felt just calling each other by their first name. Maybe he was simply old fashioned in that way alone, but it felt fairly uncomfortable for the other nations to use his first name, especially ones that he didn’t know him very well even though they had to interact with each other at certain points in their long lives.
“Yer welcome, America, and honestly, it’s no problem, but I’ll have to ask that you call me call ‘Turkey’,” he replied with a small smile. “That may make me old fashioned to today’s youth here, but using my first name like that makes me uncomfortable.”
All Alfred could do was to respect the man’s wishes, at least that was what he was supposed to do. Not only was Turkey older, but he was at his home as well, it was all but good courtesy. Alfred just hated to use their nation names. It just reminded him of the job lived. ❝ Whatever you wish, dude! ❞ Was he supposed to say, dude? No, it would probably be just as bad as calling Turkey by his first name, but Alfred wanted to find any excuse not to use country names. Turkey especially, mainly because it just reminded him of food.
