"I guess this is the part where we shake hands and say 'nice to meet you', right?"

A bubbly smile was all the American could offer. Today had been rather nice, a lot of different things happened and one of them being meeting the woman which now stood in front of him. Her question was to be answered with a light chuckle, which left him with such a grace and natural reaction, that Alfred himself didn’t even realize he was doing it.      ❝   Only if you want it to end that way, really.

Having to say goodbye was always a difficult part of any meetings, with that said, they were strangers, only just met and he could, should, not pursue anything, it would only end badly, though the stranger seemed so nice that he couldn’t really get himself to say the final goodbye, hence why he hinted for a second meeting.

"Okay, okay, listen. I miiiiight have had a little too much, and I miiight need someone to help me get home. You look trustworthy, so let's go."

Alfred sat at the bar with his very own glass of alcohol, just ready to drink rest of the liquid when the man spoke to him. Confusion was written all over his face, but drowning the content of his glass Alfred turned to look at the man, a smile touching the corners of his lips.      ❝   Of course bro, show the way.

He had been invited by some of the other nations, so it wasn’t surprising that others were here at this bar.

❝   No one is asking you to give in ––– we just want you to stop resisting and accept your fate.   ❞      Well knowing that it was the same exact thing.

❝   I don’t think that’s how it’s done, Artie.   ❞      Alfred warned as he watched the other try to cook something, getting uneasy in his seat which was across the room. Out of any danger, although something told him that if Arthur kept doing what he did, it would end horribly. Horrible as in “get burnt.” A part of him wanted to go over and help the other, at least make sure the food didn’t get burnt.

Without more thought the boy left the comfort of his seat, slowly walking closer to the Englishman Alfred offered.      ❝   Want me to help you?   ❞      Not even waiting for any reply Alfred tried to take some kind of control in the kitchen. Of course, it was him who made Arthur get up and cook for him in the first place, and Alfred was thankful for that, but as time went on Alfred slowly started to regret begging the man to cook for him. Not knowing if Arthur was doing an awful job on purpose just to get Alfred to cook his own food. It was possible.

Least to say, the teens jaw fell slack, and he didn’t respond for
some short seconds; instead simply nodding.

“What kind of question even is that? Of course I will!
Thank you.”

A bubbly smile then pressed the corner of his mouth, giving off the excitement in which Alfred had tried to hide away. He wanted to watch this movie, and who better to watch it with, than the one person who loved the series than he. Well knowing of the fact Teodor loved X-men.      ❝   Awesome! I’ll meet you there, then? It’s going to be so awesome, and I have some really amazing seats as well, so not only will we be able to watch the movie on the premier, but with the best seats of them all!

Being careless as he was, it would be no surprise to anyone that Alfred was walked straight on in traffic, eyes glued to his phone, as he was trying to text someone. If it hadn’t been for the voice to suddenly speak up, who knows, he might have gotten hit by the oncoming traffic.

Stopping dead in his track, Alfred looked up and around at his surroundings, surprised at where he was at. Never before had he been this careless in traffic, really. A bewildered look searched for the source of the voice, finally catching the man’s eyes, the boy smiled.      ❝   Thank you, dude!
